Ultra-Violet Clarifier
One of the best pond U.V. sterilizers on the market designed for
backyard pond use, the TetraPond in-line U.V. sterilizer is a product
well worth considering for single-cell algae control in your pond. The
body is constructed of a sturdy plastic shell not equaled in other
sterilizing units. Transparent inlet/outlet connections allow for easy
viewing of flow rate and bulb function. What is unique to this UV
Clarifier is the stainless steel sleeve that provides reflective
exposure of the ultaviolet lighting and therefore a greater level of
exposure of UV killing potential to the algae. Other units have a
glass sleeve, and therefore the exposure is not as great and the risk
of unit breakage is greater. The Tetra UV unit also comes complete
with transformer, U.V. bulb, mounting brackets, and a three year
warrantee*. Please note that this unit is NOT submersible.
*Note:
some of the older models have a one year warrantee and can be purchase
