Tree Houseleek 'Kiwi'
Aeonium haworthii 'Kiwi'
Kiwi is an attractive succulent with thick green leaves arranged in a rosette. In bright light, new growth emerges creamy yellow with thin pink margins before gradually maturing to green. The pink edging will remain more pronounced when the plant receives plenty of light. As the plant matures, it naturally sheds its lower leaves, gradually forming a trunk-like stem.
Tree Houseleeks grow best in bright, direct to indirect light. Plant them in a small, preferably terra cotta pot with a well-draining cactus or succulent mix, and water only once the soil has dried completely.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available year-round, depending on supplier availability.
Characteristics
Upright
Can reach over 2' tall.
Care
Bright, indirect to direct sun indoors
Let soil dry out almost completely before watering again. Your pot should have a drainage hole to reduce the likelihood of root rot caused by water accumulating in the bottom of the pot.
