Air Plant Spanish Moss
Tillandsia usneoides
Spanish Moss is a unique air plant; it's not actually a moss but an epiphytic plant that grows on tree branches in its native range. It has silvery-green, slightly twisted, thread-like leaves and can be mounted on branches or other natural surfaces or left to grow on its own.
Air plants grow best in bright, indirect light but will tolerate medium light. They can be misted daily to provide hydration, but ideally should be soaked at least once a week for 10-20 minutes. After soaking, shake off any excess water to discourage rot. If grown in a closed container, let it dry completely before putting it back.
