Amaranthus gangeticus ‘Carnival’
Carnival is a striking variety of Amaranthus grown for its bold, colourful foliage. Its broad leaves develop vibrant combinations of green, yellow, orange, and red, creating a dramatic tropical look in garden beds and mixed planters.
Amaranthus grows best in full sun with average, well-drained soil. It performs well in hot weather and should be watered regularly during dry periods, especially when grown in containers.

Care
Full sun outdoors (6-8+ hours of direct sun) and Part shade outdoors (4 hours of direct sun)
Keep soil moist, but not soggy.
If it is planted in a pot, it should have a drainage hole to reduce the likelihood of root rot caused by water accumulating in the bottom of the pot.
Increase watering in the heat of summer and watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
