Baby Toes
Fenestraria rhopalophylla
Baby Toes are a unique succulent with thick, greyish-green leaves that have a window on top and stick out of the soil. They are highly drought-tolerant and will produce new offshoots as they mature.
Baby Toes need bright, direct to indirect light; the stronger the light, the better. They should be planted in a small pot with well-draining cactus/succulent soil. They are very easy to overwater; only give them a drink when the leaves are becoming soft and wrinkled.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available July through February, depending on supplier availability
Characteristics
Slow growing, will spread over time.
Care
Bright, indirect to direct sun indoors
. Your pot should have a drainage hole to reduce the likelihood of root rot caused by water accumulating in the bottom of the pot.
