Berberis thunbergii 'Concorde'
Concorde barberry features deep maroon foliage, a small, compact size and produces little to no viable seed. This dwarf variety is great for those who are low on space or anyone who wants to add a pop of colour into their gardens.
Be careful when handling and pruning; barberry is extremely thorny!
Barberry grow best in full sun with average, well-drained soil. Wet, heavy soils can cause root rot. Barberry can tolerate part shade, but the foliage will lose it's reddish-purple colour.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available May through September, depending on suppliers availability.

Care
Full sun outdoors (6-8+ hours of direct sun)
Water every 2-4 days for the first year until established (based on outdoor temperature & plant's water consumption).
Increase watering in the heat of summer and watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
