Berberis thunbergii 'Rose Glow'
Rose Glow is a popular variety of barberry that features deep rosy-red foliage and an upright, somewhat vase-shaped habit. Unlike other varieties, the new foliage of Rose Glow is mottled with pink and white throughout summer before maturing to rosy-red. The inconspicuous yellow flowers in late spring are followed by bright red berries in fall.
Be careful when handling and pruning; barberry is extremely thorny!
Barberry grow best in full sun with average, well-drained soil. Wet, heavy soils can cause root rot. Barberry can tolerate part shade, but the foliage will lose it's reddish-purple colour.

Full sun outdoors (6-8+ hours of direct sun)
Water every 2-4 days for the first year until established (based on outdoor temperature & plant's water consumption).
Increase watering in the heat of summer and watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
