Orange Queen Barrenwort is a shade-loving perennial with small, pale orange flowers in mid to late spring. The foliage emerges green with red edges, turns green by summer, and changes to shades of bronze and red in the fall.
Barrenwort is a slow-growing, but long-lived plant. They prefer rich, fertile, moist soils but are drought-tolerant once established.
Seasonal Availability: Typically mid-April to August

Good for Dry Shade, Rabbit-Resistant, Deer-Resistant, and Fall Colour
Care
Part shade outdoors (4 hours of direct sun) and Full shade outdoors (0-2 hours of direct sun)
Water every 1-3 days for first year until established (based on outdoor temperature & plant's water consumption). Be sure to increase watering in heat of summer and, watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
