Red Riding Hood Beardtongue is a perennial that features spikes of dark pink flowers in summer.
Beardtongue grows best with full sun and well-drained soils. Avoid wet, poorly drained soils. Beardtongue is drought and heat tolerant.

Care
Full sun outdoors (6-8+ hours of direct sun)
Water every 1-3 days for first year until established (based on outdoor temperature & plant's water consumption). Be sure to increase watering in heat of summer and, watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
