Begonia 'Dragon Wing® Red'
Begonia x 'Bepared'
Dragon Wing® Red features delicate red flowers held over glossy green foliage.
Dragon Wing Begonias are vigorous annuals with large, glossy, wing-shaped leaves and produce an abundance of dangling flowers held above the foliage. Their full, arching growth habit makes them a great choice for large planters, hanging baskets, and garden beds.
Dragon Wing Begonias grow best in part sun to shade with moist, well-drained soil. They tolerate heat and humidity well, bloom continuously throughout the summer, and require very little maintenance.
Seasonal Availability: Typically May through July

Care
Part shade outdoors (4 hours of direct sun) and Full shade outdoors (0-2 hours of direct sun)
Keep soil moist, but not soggy.
If it is planted in a pot, it should have a drainage hole to reduce the likelihood of root rot caused by water accumulating in the bottom of the pot.
Increase watering in the heat of summer and watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
