Bird of Paradise White
Strelitzia nicolai
The white bird of paradise is a large tropical plant with unique white flowers. It has long, thick green leaves that are highly ornamental and great for giving a tropical vibe to your space. Birds of paradise will only flower once mature and if given a lot of direct light, making it rare for them to bloom indoors. Growing them outside in the summer can help produce buds.
Birds of paradise grow best in bright, direct to indirect light. The more light you give them, the fuller and leafier the plant will be. They should only be watered once the top few inches of soil have dried.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available year-round, depending on supplier availability.
