Black Eyed Susan (Annual)
Rudbeckia hirta
Annual Black-Eyed Susan is a cheerful flowering annual or short-lived perennial with large, daisy-like blooms in shades of yellow and gold, often with contrasting dark brown, green, or golden centres. Its bold flowers bloom over a long period and add warm colour to summer and fall planters and garden beds.
Annual Black-Eyed Susan grows best in full sun with well-drained soil. It tolerates heat and drier conditions well and will continue flowering into fall, especially if spent blooms are removed regularly.
