Black-Eyed Susan 'Black Beauty'
Rudbeckia occidentalis 'Black Beauty'
Black Beauty is a unique variety of Black-Eyed Susan. The large, dark brown/black heads have yellow stamens, but lack the showy yellow petals that usually come with Black-Eyed Susans. The cones dry in place, staying well into the winter. Great for cut flower bouquets or drying.
Black-Eyed Susans grow best in full to part sun with average to dry soil conditions and are heat and drought tolerant once established.
Seasonal Availability: Typically mid-April to August
