Dark Knight Bluebeard features purple-blue flowers in late summer that are attractive to many pollinators.
Dark Knight Bluebeard, though technically a deciduous shrub, is grown as a perennial in the north as it may die to the ground in harsh winters. Good drainage is essential for its survival, it will not tolerate heavy, wet winter soil.
