Broccoli
Brassica oleraceae var. italica 'Green Magic F1'
Green Magic is a variety of Broccoli that is resistant to bolting in hot weather, extending your growing season. It produces flavourful, tight blue-green crowns and has good tolerance to Powdery Mildew.
Harvest your broccoli just below the head, once the crown is fully developed but still tight. Once the head begins to loosen, this means it's close to flowering and may not taste as good.
Broccoli is a cool-season crop and grows best in spring and fall, before the temperatures begin to rise. It grows best in full sun with fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Consider adding organic matter to your soil to improve fertility and drainage.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available March through June, depending on suppliers availability.

Care
Full sun outdoors (6-8+ hours of direct sun)
Keep soil moist, but not soggy.
If it is planted in a pot, it should have a drainage hole to reduce the likelihood of root rot caused by water accumulating in the bottom of the pot.
Increase watering in the heat of summer and watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
