Buddhist Pine
Podocarpus macrophyllus
Buddhist Pine is a versatile houseplant with slender green leaves. It is commonly grown as a bonsai specimen, but can be left to grow on its own, where it will gradually form a large, shrubby habit.
Buddhist Pine grows best in bright, direct to indirect light. It prefers consistent moisture, but is susceptible to root rot. We recommend using a well-draining potting mix and waiting until the top few inches of soil dry out before watering.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available September through February, depending on supplier availability.

Let top 1-2" dry out before watering again. Your pot should have a drainage hole to reduce the likelihood of root rot caused by water accumulating in the bottom of the pot.
