Cattail 'Variegated'
Typha latifolia variegata
Variegated Cattail is a perennial that spreads via rhizomes to form colonies over time. Great for naturalizing, though it can crowd out other marginal pond plants. This variety has cream stripes on its leaves.
Variegated Cattail grows best in moist to wet soils in full to part sun. Cattails are valuable for wildlife as they provide nesting sites and cover.
