Cedar 'Tater Tot®'
Thuja occidentalis 'SMNTOBAB'
Tater Tot® is a dwarf globe cedar with dense green foliage and a natural round form. It's slow-growing and doesn't require pruning to maintain its shape.
For the densest foliage, plant your cedar in full sun. They require consistent moisture, especially when establishing, but the soil should still be well-drained. We recommend wrapping cedars over the winter to protect them against wind drying out the foliage.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available June through August, depending on suppliers availability.

Size: 2'-3' tall, 3'-4' wide
Care
Full sun outdoors (6-8+ hours of direct sun) and Part shade outdoors (4 hours of direct sun)
Water every 1-3 days for first year until established (based on outdoor temperature & plant's water consumption).
Increase watering in the heat of summer and watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
