Cedar 'Whipcord'
Thuja plicata 'Whipcord'
Whipcord is a unique variety of cedar with a thin, whip-like foliage on arching branches. It's a great addition for year-round texture to your garden. Whipcord cedar develops a bronze colour over the winter.
For the densest foliage, plant your cedar in full sun. They require consistent moisture, especially when establishing, but the soil should still be well-drained. We recommend wrapping cedars over the winter to protect them against wind drying out the foliage.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available May through August, depending on suppliers availability.
