Celeriac
Apium graveolens var. rapaceum 'Rowena'
Rowena is a variety of celeriac that produces smooth, round roots with excellent flavour, texture and a good tolerance of heat.
Celeriac is best harvested in the fall, especially after a light frost. Your celeriac is mature once the bulb reaches around 3'"-5" in diameter. If stored properly, celeriac can last for months.
Celeriac is a cool-season crop and prefers spring and fall temperatures. It grows best in full sun with consistently moist, fertile, well-drained soil. Celeriac has shallow roots and does not tolerate long periods of drought. Use mulch to help conserve soil moisture and keep roots cool.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available April through June, depending on suppliers availability.

Care
Full sun outdoors (6-8+ hours of direct sun)
Keep soil moist, but not soggy.
If it is planted in a pot, it should have a drainage hole to reduce the likelihood of root rot caused by water accumulating in the bottom of the pot.
Increase watering in the heat of summer and watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
