Celosia is a colourful annual that adds bold texture and rich colour to fall planters and gardens. Its unique flower plumes come in vibrant shades of red, orange, yellow, pink, and burgundy, making it a great choice for transitioning summer displays into autumn.
Celosia prefers warm conditions and will continue blooming into fall until temperatures become too cold. It is not frost tolerant, so protect plants from early frosts if you want to extend their season.
Plant Celosia in full sun with well-drained soil and water when the top few inches of soil have dried.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available August through September, depending on suppliers availability.

Full sun outdoors (6-8+ hours of direct sun)
Let top 1-2" dry out before watering again.
If it is planted in a pot, it should have a drainage hole to reduce the likelihood of root rot caused by water accumulating in the bottom of the pot.
Increase watering in the heat of summer and watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
