China Doll

China Doll is a houseplant with glossy green leaves and a delicate, airy growth habit. In its native range, it grows as a tree and can reach up to 100 feet tall. Indoors, it rarely reaches above 5 feet. 

China Doll grows best in bright, direct to indirect light but will tolerate medium light. The most difficult aspect of its care is watering. It prefers consistently moist soil and will quickly dry up if moisture isn't available. However, it's also prone to root rot if the soil is too wet, and many find it a challenge to get the right balance of moist but not soggy soil.
