'AC Navy Lady' Explorer Shrub Rose

AC Navy Lady was bred by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. It was named in dedication to the Canadian women who served in the Women's Royal Canadian Naval Service, and the women who serve today as members of the Canadian Navy. 

AC Navy Lady features dark red, double flowers with a light fragrance that appear in flushes throughout the season. It is a disease-resistant variety with good blackspot resistance and excellent mildew and rust resistance. 

Roses grow best in full sun with fertile, well-drained soil. Newly planted roses should be watered regularly so that the soil doesn't dry out for long periods. Once established, roses should only need water during periods of drought. Consider adding organic matter to your gardens to improve soil fertility and drainage.
