Cosmos 'Sonata™ Pink'
Cosmos bipinnatus 'PAS1787'
Cosmos are easy-to-grow annuals with delicate, daisy-like flowers held on tall, airy stems above fine, feathery foliage. Their light, open habit adds movement to garden beds, borders, meadow-style plantings, and cut flower gardens, while the blooms attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.
Cosmos grow best in full sun with average, well-drained soil. They tolerate heat, drought, and low-nutrient conditions well, and often flower better when soil is not overly rich. Deadheading can encourage continued blooming, though plants may also self-seed if spent flowers are left in place.
Seasonal Availability: Typically May through August

Care
Full sun outdoors (6-8+ hours of direct sun)
Keep soil moist, but not soggy.
If it is planted in a pot, it should have a drainage hole to reduce the likelihood of root rot caused by water accumulating in the bottom of the pot.
Increase watering in the heat of summer and watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
