Croton 'Banana'
Codiaeum variegatum 'Sloppy Painter'
Banana is a unique variety of Croton with elongated green leaves that are splashed with bright yellow. They require lots of light to keep their colour; not enough light will cause the foliage to turn green.
Crotons can be tricky to grow as a houseplant; they require lots of bright, direct to indirect light and 40-70% humidity. Drafts, cool temperatures, and changes in their environment will cause them to drop foliage. They like regular waterings and will not tolerate dry or soggy soil; only water once the top few inches have dried.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available July through February, depending on supplier availability
