Cucumber 'Progress Hybrid'
Cucumis sativis 'Progress'
Progress Hybrid is an early-yielding variety that produces 10"-14" long cucumbers. The fruit is crisp, tasty, easy to digest, and burpless. This variety is resistant to cucumber and watermelon viruses, scab, and leaf spot.
Harvest your cucumbers when they are close to mature size, around 1" thick, and dark green. Make sure you regularly pick ripe fruits to keep your plant productive.
Cucumbers grow best in full sun with fertile, moist, well-drained soil. They are vigorous growers and require lots of nutrients and water. Heat-loving, they do best when soil and nighttime temperatures are reliably high. Since they are vines, they will need support (trellis, fence, etc.) to grow.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available April through June, depending on suppliers availability.

Full sun outdoors (6-8+ hours of direct sun)
Keep soil moist, but not soggy.
If it is planted in a pot, it should have a drainage hole to reduce the likelihood of root rot caused by water accumulating in the bottom of the pot.
Increase watering in the heat of summer and watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
