Cucumber 'Telegraph Improved'
Cucumis sativis 'Telegraph Improved'
Telegraph Improved is an English Cucumber variety that produces crisp, thin fruits that are typically 10"-14" long, but can grow up to 18". They are thin-skinned, mostly seedless and burpless, with a cool, mild flavour, and are rarely bitter.
Harvest your cucumbers when they are close to mature size and dark green. Make sure you regularly pick ripe fruits to keep your plant productive.
Cucumbers grow best in full sun with fertile, moist, well-drained soil. They are vigorous growers and require lots of nutrients and water. Heat-loving, they do best when soil and nighttime temperatures are reliably high. Since they are vines, they will need support (trellis, fence, etc.) to grow.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available April through June, depending on suppliers availability.

Care
Full sun outdoors (6-8+ hours of direct sun)
Keep soil moist, but not soggy.
If it is planted in a pot, it should have a drainage hole to reduce the likelihood of root rot caused by water accumulating in the bottom of the pot.
Increase watering in the heat of summer and watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
