Cutting Celery
Apium graveolens var. secalinum
Cutting Celery is typically grown for its foliage and not the crunchy stalks (though they are still edible!), like traditional celery. The leaves are larger with a more distinct flavour, similar to Italian parsley and the stems can be used for making stock.
The day before you harvest, water your plants well for best flavour and longer storage. The outer stalks can be harvested at any time, and if you want, you can harvest the entire plant once it's reach your desired size.
Cutting Celery grows best in full sun with fertile, well-drained soil that is consistently moist. Consider adding organic matter to your garden to improve drainage and soil fertility.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available April through June, depending on suppliers availability.

Care
Full sun outdoors (6-8+ hours of direct sun)
Keep soil moist, but not soggy.
If it is planted in a pot, it should have a drainage hole to reduce the likelihood of root rot caused by water accumulating in the bottom of the pot.
Increase watering in the heat of summer and watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
