Medium to bright, indirect light indoors

Keep soil moist, but not soggy. Your pot should have a drainage hole to reduce the likelihood of root rot caused by water accumulating in the bottom of the pot.

Cyclamen do not like to have wet leaves, so they are best watered from the bottom. Place the plant in a shallow tray of water for 10 minutes, then remove and let drain.

If you are only keeping your plant for the holiday season, there's no need to fertilize. If you would like to keep it long term, fertilize with a tropical fertilizer during the blooming period as the package directs.

Deadhead spent flowers by pulling on the stem from the base of the crown in order to encourage more blooms. Remember that they will likely go dormant for the summer, and leaves will yellow and die back. Let the plant dry out and it will likely resume growth in the fall.
