



Daffodil
Narcissus spp.
One of the first bulbs to bloom in the spring, Daffodils add a cheerful touch to early spring arrangements, planters, and gardens. They are preferred by gardeners that have issues with squirrels, as the bulbs are naturally repel pests because of their strong scent and bitter taste. Daffodils mostly come in yellow and white, with some varieties having orange trumpets.
Daffodils perform best in cool weather and will dormant by summer. They like lots of sun and for their soil to somewhat dry out in between waterings. Daffodils will naturalize and return year after year if planted in the ground and conditions are adequate.
Available in 4" and 6" pots.

Full sun outdoors (6-8+ hours of direct sun) and Bright, indirect to direct sun indoors
Let top 1-2" dry out before watering again.
If it is planted in a pot, it should have a drainage hole to reduce the likelihood of root rot caused by water accumulating in the bottom of the pot.
Increase watering in the heat of summer and watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
