Daphne 'Carol Mackie'
Daphne x burkwoodii 'Carol Mackie'
Carol Mackie is one of the most well-known varieties of Daphne. It has variegated green foliage with golden-yellow margins that fade to cream and fragrant pale-pink flowers in late spring. It's small size makes it great for those who are lacking space.
Daphne grows best in part shade, too much sun will cause the foliage to burn and too much shade will stop flowering. Good drainage is important for its survival, consider adding organic matter to your garden if your soil is heavy and/or compacted.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available April through July, depending on suppliers availability.
