Willow Dappled 'Hakuro Nishiki'

Hakuro Nishiki is a variety of dappled willow with highly variegated new foliage. In mid-to-late spring, the new growth emerges in shades of pink, white, and bright green before fading to green for the summer. Occasional light pruning throughout the summer can promote new colourful growth again, but the spring flush is always the strongest in terms of colour and variegation. 

Willows grow best in full to part sun with moderate to wet, well-drained soil. It will not tolerate dry soils or drought and can sometimes struggle in areas with high heat and humidity.
