Bright, indirect to direct sun indoors

Let top 1-2" dry out before watering again.

If it is planted in a pot, it should have a drainage hole to reduce the likelihood of root rot caused by water accumulating in the bottom of the pot.

Increase watering in the heat of summer and watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.

Ensure you keep your Lawson Cypress well watered, without having the soil waterlogged. Provide the brightest light possible to keep the growth tight and compact.

Although they are hardy to zone 5, if you are purchasing one from inside the greenhouse, they have not been hardened off and cannot be moved outside until the risk of last frost has passed.
