Eucalyptus 'Baby Blue'
Eucalyptus pulverulenta 'Baby Blue'
Baby Blue Eucalyptus is a striking foliage plant with rounded, silvery-blue leaves held along upright stems. Its cool-toned foliage and strong vertical form make it a great choice for mixed planters, garden beds, and cut or dried floral arrangements.
Baby Blue Eucalyptus grows best in full sun with well-drained soil. It tolerates heat and dry conditions well once growing actively and should be watered thoroughly, then allowed to dry slightly between waterings.
Seasonal Availability: Typically May through June
Characteristics
2'-4' tall, 8"-12" wide
Interesting Foliage and Fragrant
Care
Full sun outdoors (6-8+ hours of direct sun)
Let top 1-2" dry out before watering again.
If it is planted in a pot, it should have a drainage hole to reduce the likelihood of root rot caused by water accumulating in the bottom of the pot.
Increase watering in the heat of summer and watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
