False Cypress 'Golden Mops'
Chamaecyparis pisifera 'Golden Mops'
Golden Mops is a slow-growing evergreen with weeping, golden-yellow foliage. New growth is bright when it emerges but fades slightly as it ages. It has a slow growth rate, only putting out 1.5-2" of growth each year.
False Cypress grows best in full sun to light shade with average, moist, well-drained soils. Once established, they are drought-tolerant.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available May through September, depending on suppliers availability.

Care
Full sun outdoors (6-8+ hours of direct sun) and Part shade outdoors (4 hours of direct sun)
Water every 2-4 days for the first year until established (based on outdoor temperature & plant's water consumption).
Increase watering in the heat of summer and watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
