Plum Rosy False Indigo produces spikes of mauve-pink flowers that lighten to near-white as they age. Blooming occurs in late spring/early summer.
False Indigo is a low maintenance perennial that grows best in full sun with average moisture levels and well-drained soil. Though tolerant of some shade, plants will grow leggy and require staking.

Increase watering in the heat of summer and watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
