Fescue 'Boulder Blue'
Festuca glauca 'Boulder Blue'
Boulder Blue Fescue is an ornamental grass with steely-blue, narrow foliage. Light brown spikelets appear in summer and are held slightly above the foliage. However, they are not very ornamental and can be cut off if desired.
Fescue grows best in full sun with average to dry, well-drained soil. They can handle light shade, but the foliage may turn more green. Intolerant of wet, poorly-drained soils, especially over winter.
