Ficus Fiddle Leaf Fig 'Bambino'
Ficus lyrata 'Bambino'
Bambino is the bushier, more compact version of the traditional Fiddle Leaf Fig. The thick, green leaves are much smaller, and the mature height is lower; Bambino only grows to around 5 feet tall, whereas traditional Fiddle Leaf Figs can reach over 10 feet tall.
Ficus can be finicky; they dislike change and will drop their leaves if their conditions are less than ideal. Even when grown under perfect conditions, they will still drop leaves due to stress or environmental changes.
Ficus grows best in bright, indirect light and can tolerate some direct light once acclimated. The soil should never dry out fully, but also shouldn't be waterlogged and soggy. Wait until the top few inches of soil have dried out before watering.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available year-round, depending on supplier availability.
