Let soil dry out almost completely before watering again. Your pot should have a drainage hole to reduce the likelihood of root rot caused by water accumulating in the bottom of the pot.

With acclimatization, it can be outside in a sunny to partly shaded location once overnight temperatures are reliably above 15°C.

Use a cactus and succulent soil.

Mature plants are capable of producing blooms if given enough light.
