Flamingo Lily
Anthurium andraeanum
Flamingo Lily, also known as Painter's Palette, is a flowering houseplant with large, glossy, heart-shaped leaves. With proper lighting and care, it can produce long-lasting blooms in shades of red, pink, purple, and white.
Flamingo Lilies grow best in bright, indirect light but can tolerate lower light. They should be planted in a loose, well-draining potting mix and watered only once the top few inches of soil have dried. They prefer high humidity, but usually tolerate average household humidity just fine. They can also be sensitive to the minerals in tap water, so using distilled, deionized, or rainwater can help prevent brown tips on the foliage.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available year-round, depending on supplier availability.
