Gasteraloe 'Green Ice'
Gasteraloe 'Green Ice'
Green Ice is a variety of Gasteraloe, a hybrid between Gasteria and Aloe species. Green Ice is a slow-growing succulent with thick dark green leaves with pale green variegation and spotting throughout the foliage.
Succulents should be grown in bright, direct to bright, indirect light for best colour and form. They should be grown in a small planter with well-draining cactus/succulent soil. They are prone to root rot and should only be watered when the soil has fully dried out.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available September through February, depending on supplier availability.
Characteristics
Bush
Can reach up to 8" tall. Will produce offsets and the base of the plant as it matures.
Care
Bright, indirect to direct sun indoors
Let soil dry out almost completely before watering again. Your pot should have a drainage hole to reduce the likelihood of root rot caused by water accumulating in the bottom of the pot.
