Grape 'Himrod'

Himrod is a vigorous variety that produces seedless, sweet golden-yellow grapes with juicy flesh. It's a vigorous grower and should produce quite heavily once established. The grapes can be used for fresh eating, juices, or preserves. Grapes are self-fertile and do not require another variety to produce fruit. 

Grapes require specific pruning/training regimens to keep the vines healthy and productive. In general, grapes should be pruned back heavily every year, as the vine only produces fruit on the current year's growth. It's recommended to do this in late fall/early winter. It can also be done in the spring, but the sap will be flowing, which can make it difficult for the vine to heal the wounds. 

Grapes grow best in full sun with loose, fertile, well-drained soil in an area with good airflow. Consistent moisture is required for the first year, and it will need strong support to grow on. Well-draining soil is essential for winter survival.
