Cactus Hairy-Stemmed Rhipsalis
Rhipsalis pilocarpa
Hairy-Stemmed Rhipsalis is a cactus with long, dark green stems with white hairs. The stems can be tinged with red when grown in full sun. It's a great cactus for beginners as it doesn't require direct sun exposure and prefers regular waterings.
Hairy-Stemmed Rhipsalis grows best in bright, indirect to medium light. It should be grown in a well-draining cactus/succulent mix, but it requires more frequent waterings than traditional desert cacti. You should let the soil mostly dry out before giving it a good soaking.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available year-round, depending on supplier availability.

Let soil dry out almost completely before watering again. Your pot should have a drainage hole to reduce the likelihood of root rot caused by water accumulating in the bottom of the pot.
