Heliotrope 'Scentropia™ Dark Blue'
Heliotropium arborescens 'Scentropia Dark Blue'
Scentropia™ Dark Blue is a compact variety with clusters of intensely fragrant, deep violet-purple flowers throughout the summer.
Heliotrope is a fragrant annual with clusters of small flowers held above textured, dark green foliage. Its sweet, vanilla-like fragrance and compact, bushy habit make it a great choice for mixed planters, patio containers, borders, and pollinator gardens.
Heliotrope grows best in full sun to part shade with rich, moist, well-drained soil. Keep it consistently watered, especially during hot weather, and avoid allowing the soil to dry out completely. Regular deadheading can help encourage continued blooming.
Seasonal Availability: Typically May through June

Keep soil moist, but not soggy.
If it is planted in a pot, it should have a drainage hole to reduce the likelihood of root rot caused by water accumulating in the bottom of the pot.
Increase watering in the heat of summer and watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
