Holly 'Jack & Jill'
Ilex x meserveae 'Jack & Jill'
Jack & Jill is an evergreen type of blue holly that has thick, glossy, dark green, spikey leaves and produces small white flowers in the spring. Blue holly needs a male plant to pollinate the female plant to produce berries. Jack & Jill Holly has both the male and female planted together, so you don't need to worry about cross-pollination.
Blue Holly grows best in full to part sun with average, moist, well-drained, acidic soil. Wrapping is recommended over winter when the plant is young to stop wind from drying out the leaves.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available May through August, depending on suppliers availability.
