Hydrangea Panicle 'Limelight'
Hydrangea paniculata 'Limelight'
Limelight Hydrangea is one of the most popular hydrangeas, and for good reason. It's large, showy panicles of blooms begin as a soft lime green and then open to a creamy white. As the flowers age, they turn a dusty pink. The blooms last well into the fall. The flowers can be cut for bouquets, dried, or left on as winter interest.
Hydrangeas have very shallow root systems and dry out quickly, especially in full sun. If you notice your hydrangea is wilting, dropping flowers and/or leaves, or turning brown, it is time to water! Applying a layer of mulch around the root system can also help conserve water.
