Hydrangea Panicle 'Phantom'
Hydrangea paniculata 'Phantom'
Phantom is a variety of panicle hydrangea that produces large, dense, creamy-white, cone-shaped flowers that resist flopping. As the nighttime temperatures begin to cool, the blooms develop a pink hue that deepens as the fall approaches. The blooms can be cut for bouquets, dried, or left on as winter interest.
Hydrangeas have very shallow root systems and dry out quickly, especially in full sun. If you notice your hydrangea is wilting, dropping flowers and/or leaves, or turning brown, it is time to water! Applying a layer of mulch around the root system can also help conserve water.
Seasonal Availability: Typically available May through September, depending on suppliers availability.
