Jewel of Desert Sunstone Ice Plant is a low-growing perennial that features thick green leaves and orange flowers with purple centers throughout the summer. Heat and drought tolerant once established.
Ice Plants grow best with dry soils with excellent drainage. They will not survive winter if the soil stays wet and drainage is poor.
Seasonal Availability: Typically mid-April to August

Care
Full sun outdoors (6-8+ hours of direct sun)
Water every 1-3 days for first year until established (based on outdoor temperature & plant's water consumption).
Increase watering in the heat of summer and watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
