Iris ensata Dinner Plate™ 'Carrot Cake'
Dinner Plate™ Carrot Cake Iris features large white flowers that have lavender tips and a golden eye. Flowers appear in early summer.
The Dinner Plate™ Series are Japanese Water Irises with large (up to 6") flowers.
Japanese Water Irises grow best with full to part sun in medium to wet, fertile, acidic soils. They can also be grown in standing water during the summer, but prefer drier conditions over winter. They will grow in average garden conditions as long as they receive adequate moisture.
Seasonal Availability: Typically mid-April to August

Good for Wet Soil, Bee-Friendly, Deer-Resistant, and Rabbit-Resistant
Care
Full sun outdoors (6-8+ hours of direct sun) and Part shade outdoors (4 hours of direct sun)
Water every 1-3 days for first year until established (based on outdoor temperature & plant's water consumption).
Increase watering in the heat of summer and watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
