Chilled Wine Siberian Iris features purple standards and falls with dark veining and white throats. Flowers appear in early-to-midsummer.
Siberian Irises grow best in full to part sun with moist, fertile, slightly acidic, well-drained soils. They will tolerate some drought once established.
Seasonal Availability: Typically mid-April to August
Characteristics
Size: 30"-38" tall, 12"-24" wide
Good for Wet Soil, Bee-Friendly, Deer-Resistant, and Rabbit-Resistant
Care
Full sun outdoors (6-8+ hours of direct sun) and Part shade outdoors (4 hours of direct sun)
Water every 1-3 days for first year until established (based on outdoor temperature & plant's water consumption).
Increase watering in the heat of summer and watch for wilting or browning as signs to increase watering frequency.
